Julia and Maxwell married beneath the sycamores at Kestrel Park, and that evening everyone sat down to dinner at one very long table under the same trees. It is still one of my favorite receptions I have ever photographed. The estate gives a wedding the feel of a European countryside without leaving the Santa Ynez Valley: the allee for the ceremony, the ivy tower for portraits, and golden fields for the last light.
